Job Brief:
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2 years of experience to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate should be passionate about quality assurance, have a strong technical background, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Test planning: Creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Test execution: Executing test cases and documenting test results, reporting defects and working with the development team to resolve them.
- Defect management: Managing defects from identification to resolution, including creating and maintaining defect reports, prioritizing defects, and retesting fixes.
- Test documentation: Documenting test results and providing status updates on testing progress to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that testing requirements are met and that defects are resolved in a timely manner.
- Automation: Identifying opportunities for test automation and developing automated test scripts.
- Create and maintain test data to ensure accurate and comprehensive testing.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
In addition to these responsibilities, a manual QA may be required to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. They should also be familiar with different testing techniques, methodologies, and tools, and have a solid understanding of the software development life cycle.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a QA role
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience in developing automated tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.) will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
- Experience in performance testing and/or security testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI, etc.).
